This lovely fabric arrived from Art Gallery recently and I still can't get enough of it.

There are some funky prints including a gorgeous text print. All available by the metre or in fat quarter and half-metre bundles. You can see more here.

Kaleidoscope Quilt

With a full time job, my sewing time seems to be getting less and less. And with the warmer weather finally approaching I don't see it getting any better. But I did finally manage to start a new project!

I've been blissfully eyeing off a Gooseberry Jelly roll, from the lovely Lella Boutique.

And who could go past her gorgeous Kaleidoscope pattern? I found a little time over the weekend (apart from a tonne of spring cleaning) to whip up the first few blocks. They are super easy! No crazy points to line up at all.

 

I can already tell I'm going to love this quilt.

Churn Dash Baby Quilt

Sometimes you just need a quilt in a hurry, and last weekend was one of those. One of my friends recently had a baby and I desperately wanted a quilt to gift her when we visited. Then I remembered the single-block churn dash quilt in the Thimble Blossom's book Simply Retro. Perfect!
