A Little Progress

It's still hot here in Melbourne. Mid-30s hot. So there's a lot more lazing around trying to keep cool than quilting happening, but I had a little burst of energy today, and my Cuzco quilt is almost done.

There's only a couple of squares and triangles to go. I thought I might leave the sashing and just quilt the cornerstones, then the border. Then I need to find some binding; I forgot to buy any!

As always Bella isn't too far away; apparently it's never too hot for a cuddle...

The quilting is looking great. When you have hot dry weather, we have crap cool weather. I'm not sure whether I want to swap though as I don't want to deal with temps in the mid to high 30s.

Hi Kate
It's been way too hot! We spent our weekend in Adelaide for a family wedding and although the day was superb, it would have been nicer if it had been 10 degrees cooler.
I've got a cat that thinks that the only place worth sitting in any weather is on a lap. She's hard to discourage, so we've given up.
Cheers

Your weather has been awful. I suer hope it doesn't travel north! I'm pleased to learn that I'm not the only one who forgets binding.
