Sick-Day Sewing

The upside to being sent home from work: sewing time. Finally getting these blocks together and I'm really happy with how they're looking.

10 down, six to go. And yes, the dogs are locked up to prevent any additional muddy paw prints...

This quilt is going to be stunning! I'm really regretting not picking up a FQ bundle of that Daydreams when I had the chance :).

It's a great design and very pretty fabric, Kate!
I can appreciate the baby gate with a doggy. I have enough trouble with a kitty that likes to go out in the rain (Vikki is very odd) and come in with dirty feet. I'm currently working on Rosalie Quinlan's variation of a grandmother's flower garden quilt, which requires appliqueing hexi flowers onto a background. I've made the large hexis in recycled vintage sheets from The Crafty Squirrel, and the background is lovely white Emma Louise quilter's muslin. The small hexi flowers go over the seams between the big ones.
One thing I know for sure, it isn't going to be anywhere near as large as your beauty here!
Get well soon, and I hope your quilt is making good progress. :)
