A Work in Progress

Finally a break in the weather allowed me to spread A La Mode out on the front lawn. I bought batting today so I'm hoping to get it basted up this arvo then get on to quilting it. I'm using the pink paisley print for the backing.

It might be cold and overcast, but you can tell spring is just around the corner. I came home to find four lovely pink gallahs grazing in front of my house. They weren't at all worried that I was there.

That is such a lovely quilt and the pink paisely is a terrific choice for the backing. My neighbour had a flock of cockatoos *grazing* on her front lawn yesterday. There was at least 30 of them! ann...

Hi Kate!
Congrats on the finished quilt top - it's so nice to look at it...love the striped border fabric, it's great choice - I'm sure the paisley backing will make this quilt perfect.
Have fun quilting this one (if only there weren't the need to baste a quilt sandwich...).
