Sugar Twist

To celebrate my day off today, my power company decided that we should be without power for most of the day. Fortunately they were a little later than planned when turning it off, and I worked quickly to get the border on my Sugar Twist quilt.

Doesn't she look cute! The weather is a little dull, so the colours don't come out that well, but I guarantee she looks great in real life.

I've chosen a gorgeous red print for the backing, and another red for the binding.

A lovely quilt- I do like Fig Tree fabrics. How very inconvenient of the power company to turn the power off when you needed it. LOL!

Your quilt looks lovely. We live in Victoria also and they had our power turned off for most of the day too. It sure was cold.
